Bethenny Frankel is all set to bid adieu to The Real Housewives of New York City ahead of the forthcoming season 12.
The Skinnygirl mogul’s time as a Housewife is coming to an end.
In a statement to Variety on Wednesday, Frankel, 48, said that she has decided “to leave the Housewives franchise to explore my next chapter”. Frankel now wants to focus on her daughter, philanthropy work and her production partnership with Mark Burnett. Together, the duo will be producing and starring in shows which “represent a shift in the conversation for women”.
Frankel is a mom to a 9-year-old daughter, Bryn, whom she shares with her ex, Jason Hoppy.
She also expressed her wish to “highlight the strength, confidence and unstoppable power that women have.” She further expressed gratitude to Bravo, who helped her to “pave the way for many women to achieve their goals.”

As soon as news of Frankel’s exit began doing rounds, Ramona Singer, told PEOPLE exclusively that she “respects the fact that Bethenny has decided to go on with other endeavors.” Singer began on RHONY with Frankel and has never missed a season of the franchise.
Though, she showed her disappointment for Frankel’s exit. Singer said that Bethenny did not tell her costars that she was leaving the show. The 62-year-old said that it is “upsetting to hear this from the press” and not Frankel herself.
However, Singer wishes her well. She knows that the show must go on and that “we’re all just a cog in the wheel. No one is irreplaceable.”
