Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of the animated series Cowboy Bebop’s production comes to a halt after John Cho suffers an injury.
Cowboys Bebop’s production on postponed for 7 to 9 months!
As per the reports, Netflix has paused the production for the next seven to nine months. Netflix sent regards to John Cho with this statement, “Our thoughts are with John, and he has our complete support as he recuperates from his injury.”
What happened to John Cho?
Lead actor John Cho returned to Los Angeles to undergo surgery after his knee was injured on the sets of Cowboy Bebop in Auckland, New Zealand on 5th October 2019. The production is expected to resume soon after John’s rehab and recovery from the injury.
The audience will now have to extend their wait to watch John Cho playing the lead role as Spike Spiegel. The other members of the cast include Alex Hassell as Vicous, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Blax, and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine. However, the audience is super excited to see the live-action of the bounty hunter crew of the Bebop.
