A Blast from the Past
The Hours actress Nicole Kidman recalls gifting a walkie-talkie to her co-start Kristen Stewart from the past. Nicole and Kristen shared screen space in the movie Panic Room in 2002.
Directed by David Fincher, Panic Room was an American thriller starring Jodie Foster and Kristen Stewart. Initially, Kidman was roped in to play the role of Meg Altman and even attended a few rehearsals with Stewart. But Kidman had to opt-out of “Panic Room” a few weeks into rehearsals after sustaining an injury. After that, the role of Meg Altman eventually went to Jodie Foster.
The Camaraderie
Since then, Nicole and Kristen have been good friends with each other. Even after 20 years after the film’s release, they tend to get along with one another.
The duo was recently seen in Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series, presented by Amazon Studios. The two actresses discussed their respective movies but started with the Panic Room.
In a concise discussion, Kidman repeated, “I recall David Fincher saying, ‘Gracious, my God, we have found the most amazing entertainer.’ And then, at that point, I got harmed and wound up not playing your mother.”
Stewart answered, “I was 10 years of age,” I have a striking memory of this is on the grounds that the manner in which you treat kids is so telling. I felt like I was buds with you. It was half a month, yet I resembled, ‘She’s one of my companions.’ You gave me walkie-talkies for Christmas.”
Stewart was only 10 years old while filming for the movie Panic Room.
Panic Room grossed around 200 million dollars worldwide. The movie made Stewart a sensation, and she never looked back and paved her way to success.

Kristen Stewart is waiting for her horror film Crimes of the Future. Nicole Kidman will be seen in The Northman and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. She was last seen in Being the Ricardos which received a positive response from the audience.
