Netflix announces Season 2 for Sex Education! Here are all the details regarding the second season!

After the appreciative response,  season 1 of Sex Education received, the Netflix and makers of the show are ready with its season 2. As soon as Netflix broke the news about it, the fans couldn’t hold their excitement. The filming for season 2 has already started.

The British comedy-drama has made people overcome all the taboos and embarrassment related to sex. The series has all the wild things you can imagine, from giving a blowjob to a banana with a mother gatecrashing a house party.

Not only with season 2, but Netflix has also granted another wish of the viewers by bringing Otis which is played by Asa Butterfield, Maeve played by Emma Mackey and Eric who is played by Ncuti Gatwa back. It surely is a double treat for the Sex Education fans!

Netflix had shared a video of all the cast reading the script during their first session. The video is a treat to eyes with all the cast in the video. The filming of season two had started in May itself. Though the Netflix hasn’t released the date for the premiere of the season, we can expect the second season in early 2020.

The storyline of Sex Education 2 has no bounds just like season one. The writer of the show had earlier said that the show is open to anything and everything. She said in an interview that she had loved the idea of getting all the characters in the same space even if not in a relationship.

For those who don’t know, Sex Education is a Netflix original series about a seventeen-year-old boy named Otis who develops an interest in the issues of sexual relationship and intimacy between a couple and how to resolve it. This interest ignites from his mother, Jean, who is a sex therapist.

The show was praised for the sex positivity and the positive representation of the LGBTQA community. The first season has set the bars too high, let us see how well the season two adheres to our expectations.
