Marvel

Werewolf By Night is a Marvel comic that first came out in the 1970s. Two people have held the Werewolf by Night title in the comics – Jack Russell and Jake Gomez. Russell is American while Gomez is Native America, and we are yet to see which version will be shown in the series. In fact, Werewolf By Night introduced Moon Knight to the comics, in issue No. 32 of the first run.

While we know that Werewolf By Night is the central character, it may not be the final title of the show. Various rumours suggest that the series will be connected to the upcoming Moon Knight series with Oscar Isaac. The story is believed to be a starting point for Marvel’s Midnight Sons. In fact, the final name could even be Tales of the Midnight Sons. This can introduce characters like Blade, Moon Knight, and maybe the X-Men. Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, Iron Man and many others belonged to the group originally. As we all know, Marvel is leaning heavily towards its horror roots, starting with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

A previous report also mentioned that Mahershala Ali’s Blade will be making his first appearance with this series. We previously heard his voice in the post credits scene of The Eternals. Blade and Werewolf By Night are also part of the iconic team called Nightstalkers.
