Kamala is Pakistani-American, and Marvel has cast Pakistani-Canadian star Iman Vellani in the lead role. The trailer shows Kamala being a teen with a big imagination, and a strong love for Captain Marvel. At the same time, we get to see her being a normal high schooler, getting crushes on boys, and trying to fit in with popular girls in her grade.

There had been different iterations of Kamala receiving her powers, and the MCU has made their own version. Kamala’s powers are similar to that of Mr. Fantastic, but different at the same time. She can enlarge her limbs or body, and grow to a massive size similar to Ant-Man. In the show, we see a special glittering effect to her power, caused from a bracelet she finds. She can also create small platforms to run.
