Shin Hye-sun is in a new Thriller movie!
Actress Shin Hye-sun is all ready to star in a new movie. The South Korean actress’s agency confirmed that she will star in the new movie. The movie “Brave Citizen” (literal translation) is a film adaptation of a webtoon of the same name. Shin Hye-sun is known for her role in “Mr. Queen”. YNK Entertainment said that the actress is highly considering the role in the movie.
The webtoon Brave Citizen is a story about a ruler named So Si Min who once ruled the nation with her hapkido skills as a high school athlete. After seven years, she finds herself being a part-time teacher. She consequently, becomes the target of the evil student Han Soo Kang. The project will be directed by the director of the films “You are my Sunshine” and “Closer to Heaven”. Although, other cast members haven’t been confirmed yet. The filming of the movie will start tentatively from December 2021, once the cast is confirmed.
Her Comeback in the movies!
In July, it was confirmed that Shin Hye-sun will star in a new horror thriller movie “Open The Door”. Where she plays the role of Soo Hyun, a woman who struggles to live alone after buying a new second-hand washing machine. Ultimately, she becomes a target of a crime. She will also be joined by the actor Kang Tae Oh, who is known for his role in “Doom At Your Service”.
She first gained recognition by appearing as the lead in the weekend drama “Golden Life”. After the immense success of K-Drama “Mr. Queen”, the actress has not appeared in any upcoming K-Drama yet. But fans are waiting for her comeback!. As of now, she is doing brand endorsements and photoshoots for magazines.
