Michael Strahan is all set to step forward to become a media personality.
The former professional football player spends his Sunday as a sports analyst and his Thursdays by covering football for Fox channel. He utilizes his weekdays morning by appearing in Good Morning America as a co-host.
The 48-year-old former New York Giants defender gives his appearance on the $100,000 Pyramid during the evening. However, this was not easy for him in the starting. While talking in an interview with the New York Times, the former footballer said that his early times in TV business was tough.
Michael opened up about the challenges he faced during his early TV career. He said that football will be the hardest thing he has ever done in terms of work. Football requires mental patience when things do not work physically. He continued saying that, however, making a career in the TV business is also like football. Strahan said that he does not want to continue in this TV business as he feels others are carrying him. He stated that he wants everyone to be successful in their life. He has done things to follow a team concept. However, he has realized that there is nothing as a team. It is all about selfishness, and he does not want to continue in those circumstances.
The sports icon continued that when on TV, looking at the job, he felt like a sidekick. However, he thought he was going to be a partner. He was then asked if his statement was in reference to the time from Kelly Ripa on Live! With Kelly and Michael. He replied that it was an experience.
The time Michael spent during the talk show was full of tension for Michael. Therefore, he finally decided to quit the Live talk show and host Good Morning America all by himself. Before the outburst of this news, he tried talking to Ripa and fixed several appointments. However, she always refused to talk to him.
The Time magazine reported in 2019 that both the celebs have completely cut off from each other.
