A conversation between Michael Jackson and Marlon Brando has been revealed recently. The conversation dates back to the early 90s’ where the actor recalls Michael Jackson’s reaction to the sexual abuse allegations he had on him. In an interview between the prosecutors and Brando, the actor recounted the conversation.
The interview was with the prosecutors during Jackson’s 1994 trial. Brando said he has asked Michael Jackson whether he was a virgin or not. Jackson had laughed and giggled at the question. Both of them had this conversation at Neverland Ranch, which is Michael Jackson’s private amusement park and home.
Michael Jackson was accused of sexual harassment in 1993 by a thirteen-year-old boy named, Jordan Chandler and also his father, Evan Chandler. The boy accused Jackson of engaging with him in oral sex, masturbation, and kissing. Jackson defended himself by saying that it was a case of a jealous father trying to extract money from Jackson.
In January 1994, the case was settled between Chandlers and Michael Jackson with $25 million. Though the case was settled, police never suppressed the criminal charges.
Brando and Jackson were close and also Miko Brando, Marlon Brando’s son, had worked for Michael Jackson. Miko Brando recalled that he considered Jackson as a ‘father figure’ to him. He also said that nobody could tear Marlon and Jackson apart from each other. He said this after both of them passed away.
“Michael was instrumental in helping my father through the last few years of his life. For that, I will always be indebted to him… Michael got Dad a golf cart with a portable oxygen tank so he could go around and enjoy Neverland,” said Miko Brando.
All this was revealed on the podcast which was centered around these allegations. The podcast featured on Telephone Stories: The Trials of Michael Jackson. The final episode of the series will be airing on September 1, 2019, which will be available on Luminary.
