“The Matrix 4” Starer Keanu Reeves And Carrie-Anne Moss Confirmed! Lana Wachowski is happy to have the characters back in her life.

The exciting news is coming in for the Matrix fans! The Lana Wachowski directorial is officially returning for a new Matrix sequel.

The roles of Neo and Trinity will be reprised by Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne-Moss, respectively.  According to reports from Variety, Lana Wachowski, who directed all the films in the franchise will return with sister Lilly. He will write and helm the new project.

Meanwhile, talking about the upcoming sequel, Lana Wachowski said that the ideas he and Lily explored 20 years ago. She expressed excitement about “bringing the characters back” and working again with his “brilliant friends.”

Subsequently, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the popular sci-fi action film franchise. Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell co-wrote the script with Lana Wachowski.

Moreover, Warner Bros Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures will be producing the movie. The studio earlier tried to re-enter The Matrix universe, but the producing rights slowed down the process.

THE PLOT AND RELEASE DATE

Plot details are not yet known. As of Morpheus which was originally played by Laurence Fishburne, Warner may recast a younger actor for the part.

Production is set to begin early next year. However, the release date is still to be confirmed by the studio.

In addition to that, the trilogy of the franchise The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, and The Matrix Revolutions have earned over USD 1.6 billion worldwide.
