MAMAMOO’s Solar and Park Seo Joon test positive for coronavirus
The COVID-19 pandemic is still very much in the picture and you never can be too careful. Recent reports state that South Korean actor Park Seo Joon and Solar from MAMAMOO group tested positive for coronavirus.
The respective agencies of both the celebrities came forward with the news to make the public aware.
Solar took to Instagram to reassure her fans
The MAMAMOO vocalist’s agency RBW released a statement on February 24 regarding her health. The statement said Solar tested positive after she was in contact with a COVID patient on February 23. After testing positive using a self-testing kit, the results were confirmed when she went through PCR testing as well.
The South Korean girl band member then took to her Instagram stories to reassure her fans. She thanked her fans for worrying about her and said this situation is a sign for her to promote her upcoming solo album in a healthy way. Solar further said that she will take good care of herself and return soon.
Park Seo Joon is in quarantine as wellÂ
The same incident took place with the Kill me, Heal Me star. Joon’s agency Awesome ENT released a statement that the actor tested positive using a self-testing kit before a scheduled activity last week on February 19.
The statement further reveals that Joon has taken all 3 vaccine doses and is now following all necessary regulations for treatment. All his scheduled activities are on halt for now.
Last year, Park Seo Joon joined “The Marvels” and the shooting for the film is in progress. The actor is all set to star in 2 movies releasing this year- “Dream” and “Concrete Utopia”.
