The Weekend Withdraw His Major Announcement After His Ill-Timed Tweet Clash

The Weekend Paused His Major Announcement

Abel Tesfaye also known as The Weekend has dropped his major announcement. It is because of the news of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Even his scheduled tweet turned out to be an ill-timing tweet, as his timing clashes with the timing of declaration of war.

Recently, he was teasing for the upcoming announcement and it seemed that he will soon update more about it. Further, on 24th of February 2022, with great excitement, he tweeted let’s go, aiming to unveil the announcement.

Why Did The Weekend Back-Off From His Announcement?

Coincidentally, at the same time of his last tweet, the Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation in the East of Ukraine. Further, as soon as he finished his speech, news of explosion in the outskirts of Kramatorsk, Mariupol, Kharkiv came up.

So, the timing of his tweet and the news was so close that the fans with all mixed feelings showed up. He even received a comment that he is going to announce in the middle of WW3 (World War 3). Further, he received many comments, few in favour of him while rest against.

In response to all this happening, he tweeted that he is giving a pause to his major announcement.

In his tweet, he exclaimed that it is very unfortunate what is happening. Further, he had withdrawn his major announcement and he was also praying for everyone’s safety.

As we know, coincidence can be good and can be bad, but it was the worst timing for one to tweet. His each and every tweet was picked up and somehow, he entered into chaos. Even a tween came up, claiming how danger it can be for a scheduled tweet.
