Madonna teases fans on the chance of a stadium tour with Britney Spears
Artists definitely love the idea of creating a mystery for their fans and Madonna is doing just that! Recently during an Instagram live session on Wednesday, the Breakfast Club vocalist hinted at the idea of a stadium tour with Britney Spears.
When the fans posed one question regarding whether she would ever want to do a world tour again, Madonna responded with a “Hell yeah!”.
“We could re-enact the original kiss”- Madonna said about the probable tour
One of the most successful solo artists in the music industry, Madonna seemed very enthusiastic about the idea. She added that she wasn’t sure if Spears would be up for it, but they could totally re-enact the original kiss!
The Evita star said this in reference to her and Britney’s smooch at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003. Needless to say, the clip went viral and people still remember it today.
However, the “Princess of Pop”- Britney Spears hasn’t performed live yet after her last “Britney: Live in Concert” tour back in October 2018. But after gaining the long-deserved freedom from her father controlling her life, the singer has expressed her excitement about recommencing her career.
Madonna’s support for Britney
When the #FreeBritney movement was going on, Madonna showed her support for the Toxic singer publicly. She wrote that Spears needs to get her life back and it was a violation of human rights. The artist further added that even though slavery has been abolished, women have been facing patriarchy for centuries now.
During the Instagram Live, Madonna expressed her utmost excitement about creating new music. She added that she’s recording with other artists as well, but didn’t reveal any names.
The “Like a Virgin” singer is currently working on a film about her life, calling it a visual autobiography.
