Lee Do Hyun in talks to star beside Song Hye Kyo in Kim Eun Sook’s new drama “The Glory”

One of the most talented actors, Lee Do Hyun, will reportedly star beside Song Hye Kyo in an upcoming thriller drama. As reported by a source, Lee Do Hyun might join Kim Eun Sook’s new drama, The Glory, as the male lead.

Lee Do Hyun received the casting offer

On October 13, a source revealed that Lee Do Hyun might make his comeback as the male lead in Kyo in Kim Eun Sook’s upcoming new drama. To confirm the same, the actor’s agency Yuehua Entertainment revealed that he got a casting offer to play the male lead in The Glory and is considering it. Further, the actor will star opposite the female lead Song Hye Kyo. Song Hye Kyo has previously collaborated with Kim Eun Sook in the hit drama Descendants of the Sun.

The Glory: Plot

Created and written by Kim Eun Sook, The Glory follows the story of Dong Eun, a young high school girl with dreams of becoming an architect. However, she soon drops out of school due to the grief of brutal school bullying. Years after, Dong Eun finds herself as the homeroom teacher of her culprit’s kid in a primary school. Thereby she starts her previously devised revenge against the culprits and the bystanders of her bullying days. 

Song Hye Kyo got selected to play the female lead role, Dong Eun during the early stage of production. If Lee Do Hyun accepts the offer he will play the male lead, Joo Yeo Jung. Joo Yeo Jung is from a wealthy family and will be helping Dong Eun to fulfill her revenge.

 The Glory is known to be produced as a multi-season series. The first season of the drama will reportedly have eight episodes.
