Kevin Spacey To Return to Big Movies With ‘1242 – Gateway To The West,’ Since 2017

Spacey had to stay away from the spotlight after allegations of sexual assault surfaced in 2017

Kevin Spacey was once one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars, and became a household name with Netflix’s House of Cards. However, he became the most disgraced actor when the #MeToo movement brought many dark secrets to light. Shortly after, Spacey was accused of sexual advances by Star Trek: Discovery star Anthony Rapp in 2017. Rapp said he himself was 14 at the time while Spacey was 26. The accusations caused him to be fired from House of Cards. Spacey has since appeared in indie projects like The Man Who Drew God.

Following Rapp’s accusation, other reports against the actor started popping up. Even Spacey’s Baby Driver co-star Jon Bernthal said that the actor was a bully on set. Since facing the heat in 2017, a few cases against Kevin Spacey have been dropped. But that does not include the 20 anonymous accusations he received from the staff when he was a creative director at the Old Vic theatre in London. Spacey also failed at getting the judge to throw Rapp’s case.

1242 – Gateway To The West is currently in pre-production and will begin filming in Mongolia and Hungary in October of this year.
