Jonah Hill is back with his next directorial project, and his leading man is a big star. Hill’s new movie will be titled Outcome, and Keanu Reeves will be playing the lead, according to Deadline. Hill has written the script along with writer Ezra Woods, and will also be producing under his company, Strong Baby.

Neither Keanu Reeves nor Jonah Hill has spoken about what the movie will be. Plot details are kept well hidden, but Deadline again reports that the movie will have a lot of A-listers attached and a story that is of similar magnitude. The movie is already being looked at by many major studios and streaming platforms, and will be heading to the market next week to go to the highest bidder.
Jonah Hill made his directorial debut in 2018’s Mid90s. It was inspired by his own childhood in the mid-90s when a young teenage boy started hanging out with a group of teen skateboarders in Los Angeles. The movie was distributed by A24 and was a hit with critics, getting 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. The reviewers spoke about Hill’s talent and his scope.

Jonah Hill released his debut documentary, Stutz, earlier this month on Netflix. It featured himself and his therapist Phil Stutz, and was a brief, but insightful talk about life stories, mental health, and what they think of therapy. Hill also made the news that he will no longer promote his work, Stutz included, because he wanted to protect himself from anxiety attacks.
Meanwhile, Reeves is on a career-high as well. He has been in a new Bill & Ted movie, returned as Neo in The Matrix Resurrections, and will be seen next in John Wick 4 next year.
