A new member will soon join the Jurassic World team. The movie is already a huge success, and we are sure the third part will be even better. Recently, we got the news that She’s Gotta Have It star DeWanda Wise will join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for Jurassic World 3. And we have more updates to share.
Colin Trevorrow directed the first Jurassic World movie. According to an exclusive interview, Colin is coming back again to direct the third sequel of the franchise. He co-wrote it with Emily Carmichael. Trevorrow and Derek Connolly wrote the first two parts of the series, and the third sequel will also be based on a story written by them. Trevorrow’s Battle at Big Rock earned great reviews and massive positive responses from the fans on social media. Battle at Big Rock is a short film of Jurassic 3, and the fans are highly awaiting the next movie. Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow will return to executive produce together.
DeWanda Wise played the role of Nola Darling in Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It. But unfortunately, the show was canceled this year. But that wasn’t it for DeWanda. She also went on to star in a Netflix movie, Someone Great. Gina Rodriguez and Brittany Snow were her co-stars in the movie. Wise played Margo in the movie The Weekend. Stella Meghie directed the movie. The Indie movie is about two ex-lovers. They spend a weekend at a bed-and-breakfast and later realize that maybe their breakup wasn’t permanent.
Jurassic World 3 will hit the theatres on June 11, 2021. Jurassic 3 will also be the last movie of the franchise. There won’t be any other sequels after this movie. Hopefully, the fans will get their answers by the end of the third movie. But of course, with the movie being so brilliantly made, fans do not want the franchise to come to an end. But we will have to wait to get any further updates.
