Conditions of the Mississippi State prisons

State wide prisons were on a lock-down from 29th December after an inmate was killed and two more were injured. Violence continued in which many more were injured and four were dead. Many prisoners were transferred to Mississippi State Penitentiary. The lock-down was lifted on this Friday except the state penitentiary where much of violence took place.
Inmates state the conditions of the state penitentiary sharing photos in where huge mice or rats can be seen in the prison. A ceiling is also seen falling in a prison cell. The prison does not have any air conditioning due to which the prisoners face problems in the Summer. The Mississippi Department of Health also often states that mosquitoes and flies can be seen in the kitchen and the foods are not healthy.
