J.K. Rowling, amidst all these ongoing backlash and controversy, is ready with her new novel titled Troubled Blood. After the novel came out, the story has been subjected as transphobic as well. Fans have straight have claimed that Rowling did not have to write a 900-page transphobic story and then claim that she is not transphobic!

Moreover, the story centres around a cisgender male serial killer who dresses up as a woman to kidnap his next target. This character also seems to fetish about women dressing and several readers have found the plot extremely problematic. Fans have been severely backlashing the story on Twitter and some have even claimed that the story is highly transphobic in nature with putting the community in a bad light.
