Well, yes Ralph Lauren has released a fashion tribute to the FRIENDS character Rachel Green played by Jennifer Aniston.
On the popular show FRIENDS, Jennifer Aniston played the character of a fashion enthusiast Rachel Green who worked as a fashion executive at Ralph Lauren. And now, you can also dress up like your favourite Rachel. The name of the collection is ‘The One Where They Wore Ralph Lauren’.
The collection is launched in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Bloomingdales. The collection features a range of workwear outfits which include stuff that might have crept into Rachel’s wardrobe in the year 2019.
Some of the outfits that the collection has, are velvet jackets and turtlenecks, leather trousers and skirts in suede, leather and plaid, both of mini and midi length. The collection has no menswear, for it is totally dedicated to Rachel. The selection of products has come from LAUREN Ralph Lauren and Polo lines.
“The collection is a celebration of the brand’s role in the series”, said Ralph Lauren in a statement. Appreciating FRIENDS for being perennial favourite series for viewers over the last 25 years, Lauren said that this collection reflects the franchise’s timeless styles and archetypes that have remained a go-to for the modern working woman.
The collection will be on display this weekend in Bloomingdales’ New York City flagship, the place where Rachel began with her career in fashion. Then, the collection will travel to the rest of the Bloomingdales location in the country.
