Seems like this April is not gonna be the best one for Marvel fans- The Falcon And The Winter Soldier will have to postpone its production and Black Widow is gonna have a November 2020 release owing to the going Pandemic. *sigh*
But here’s a break in the clouds- Captain Marvel 2 is on its way!
The Marvell Studios have set a 2022 release for Captain Marvel 2, 8th July 2022, to be more precise. Carol Danvers a.k.a. Brie Larson will be back in the sequel. This doesn’t even come as surprise because we totally had it coming considering the previous massive $1 billion-plus box office collection.
Keeping in my how the first movie ended, it is hard to tell what the future holds. There are multiple possibilities for Carol’s second story. Too many questions are popping up in our head- will it be set in the post-Endgame backdrop? Will Carol and Skrulls’ feud continue? What’s in store?
As far as other Marvel Universe gems are concerned, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is set for an August 2020 release but will definitely postpone. No new date has been scheduled as of yet. Almost a month ago, the Captain Marvel’s Official handle posted the new poster of Black Widow for the zesty fandom. Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson was up for an April 2020 release but due to conspicuous reason, like many other anticipated movies, the release date has been postponed. Black Widow will be having a November 2020 release.
Captain Marvel (2019) is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. The movie has been produced by Kevin Feige. The cast is a brilliant one including Brie Larson, Samuel L.Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Lee Pace, Clark Gregg, Jude Law, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening and Djimon Hounsou.
