The animated Dragon Prince is an animated web fantasy series on Netflix, co-written and co-produced by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond. Bardel Entertainment created this spectacular animated show.

Netflix has announced that the fourth season will be on its platform by May 2020. The first season was launched back on 14 September 2018. The second season was soon launched in February 2019 and the third in November 2019. But, Netflix has not mentioned a specific date about the release.
Plot:
The story of the show revolves around the Xaldia continent, with components of magic in a magical world. The six principle bits were the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Sky, the Ocean, and the Earth. When the humans created the seventh magic which is also known as the dark magic; they began to capture the previous main elements, which lead to a war between human kings and Xaldia. The three children join hands to discover a secret that could probably turn the fate of both the worlds.
Cast:
The main protagonist of this exceptional animated series is Callum. He is a 14-year-old boy and the first one to ever play his magic. There is also a boy called Ezran, he is 11 years old and the son of King Harrow, who has the gift to talk with animals. Later in the show, they both indulge in a romantic relationship.

No official trailer for the fourth season has been released yet. Like other Netflix shows, the trailer is expected to drop exactly one month before launch. Like the other three seasons, this season will also have nine episodes.
The show has gained worldwide prominence, even though being an animated show, it has garnered praise from viewers of all ages and has been critically acclaimed and has engaged a lot of viewers over time.
