The miniseries has not only received an overwhelming response from fans but has managed to bag as many as five Emmy nominations as well. However, the show has been promised as a miniseries, so the possibility of another season happening looks slim enough.
Liz Tigelaar Explains The Possibilities Of The Story Continuing Ahead!
Even screenwriter Liz Tigelaar is hopeful for yet another season but the showrunner has also further added that if the story continues it would be more like a spinoff rather than a second season. Liz further explains that while it was one of the best creative experiences, it is a limited series with a proper beginning, middle, and end. Everything burns down, says Liz.

Moreover, cast member Gavin Lewis who plays the role of Moody also seems to be liking the idea of continuing the story. Gavin says that there is still plenty more story to be had if the writers decide to come back and do something more with the show. The series is surely a must watch for everyone as it will keep you hooked till the very end of the series finale.
