Indiana Jones 5 New Images Are Out, To Have Exclusive Feature in Empire Magazine

The last adventure comes in 2023

Indiana Jones 5  is one of the most anticipated releases for 2023, and we have still not received a trailer. Disney and Lucasfilm are taking their time with the film, and from the looks of it, will be teasing fans for eight more months. The final installment of the Harrison Ford-led adventure is rumored to release its teaser soon, and the plot is kept well hidden. But we did get a clear look at Ford in character, thanks to a preview from Empire Magazine.

Empire gave a preview of their January 2023 cover, and Indiana Jones 5  will be the main subject. A first-look photo of the iconic treasure hunter was featured, aside from the cover image and art. It showed Ford in character on a boat, staring at something out at sea. His expression was calm but slightly pissed off. His iconic fedora, whip, and satchel were all present.

A lucky few did get to see the trailer of Indiana Jones 5 during the D23 expo earlier this year. However, filming was strictly forbidden, and no leaks made their way to the internet. Disney had also announced that a series based on the character would be made for Disney+, and it remains to be seen if the series will be a continuation after the fifth movie or a reboot.

Indiana Jones 5 has been directed by James Mangold, the ace filmmaker behind Ford v. Ferrari and Logan. Mangold has co-written the screenplay with John-Henry Butterworth (Edge of Tomorrow), and Jez Butterworth (Spectre). The franchise began in 1981 and is considered to be one of the finest in Hollywood, and all four movies had earned close to $2 billion in total. Part 5 has been in development for about a decade, and fans are excited.

Indiana Jones 5 will release on June 30, 2023.
