John Oliver Severely Criticizes House of the Dragon
A new episode of Last Week Tonight featured John Oliver, who this time targeted HBO’s own House of the Dragon. The humorist made fun of the grim moments from the Game of Thrones sequel that has caused some viewers to express their disapproval.
Oliver attempted to lighten the serious situation by making fun of the HBO fantasy series, even though the theme was transgender equality, and a little girl was expressing her anger at the school’s toilet circumstance.
“Wow, that’s awful! When the little transgender girl spoke about having security staff when she uses the washroom, Oliver remarked, “It is so dark, it is really difficult to watch.
Oliver said that, strangely, would also be a very appropriate catchphrase for House of the Dragon.
The tagline on the screens stated is so terrible that it’s truly difficult to watch.
At 11 p.m. ET on Sundays, HBO and HBO Max broadcast Last Week Tonight featuring John Oliver.
Viewers complained about how dark several moments were after Episode 7 of House of the Dragon premiered. The episodes appeared to have been recorded in the daytime but were darkened in post-production to make it appear evening.
Some fans were dissatisfied that they had to change their Tv settings and vented on social networking sites. Some viewers who claimed that the dimly lit scenes were done intentionally received a response from HBO Max’s customer support Twitter account.
