Homeland’s final season trailer is out starring Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin. Showtime recently released the trailer and the fans are very much excited. Right since 2011 when Homeland premiered, Danes and Patinkin have been the central part of the show. Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon developed this series based on the Israeli series Prisoners of War by Gideon Raff. And Homeland did well after its premiere. It became one of the popular award-winning shows after it released.
We are sure the fans already know that the eighth and the final season is going to be something else, it’s going to be tense. And the trailer furthers makes that thought concrete. Somehow the creators structured the trailer in such a way that it seems the latest season will be the most tensed one, will have tons of action sequences and will be filled with mystery. The stakes are pretty high for Carrie (Danes) and Saul (Patinkin) and they get involved in a maze they need to get out of.
There’s amnesia which resulted in a loss of seven months of memory, to begin with. Then there’s kidnapping, a Russian handler and one character says in a voiceover, “We’ve all seen this movie. We know how it ends.” We know for sure the finale of the Homeland will be one of the strongest ones. The season will force the fans to grip the armrest as the story unfolds. Right from season 1, both Carrie and Saul faced a lot and now they are in the final point. But the question is- will they survive it? Or does destiny has something else for them?
Apart from Danes and Patinkin, the final season will star Maury Sterling, Linus Roache, and Costa Ronin. Even Nimrat Kaur and Numan Acar will return from season 4 in regular roles. Homeland Season 8 will premiere on Sunday, February 9, 2020. And you can watch it on Showtime at 9/8c.
