The sixth season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ kept everyone hooked till the last episode. It premiered on 5th August 2019 with a rating of 1.22 and a total of 4.41 viewers . Firstly , a little bit of a background regarding the format of the show : it generally welcomes the rejected contestants of the previous seasons of ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’ .
In the first episode commences with a rose ceremony where each of the male contestants are given one rose. They are supposed to give their respective roses to any one of the female contestants with whom they feel they have a connection and would like to head forward in the show. Since the number of male and female contestants are uneven , the females ones being more in number , all the girls who fail to receive a rose get eliminated on the very first day.
With this , every week two people who don’t get a rose get eliminated until we reach the finals. The main goal of the show is to find true love. However, this one final destination comes with a lot of twists and dark secrets along its way. Towards the end of the first episode of season 6, it was already announced that it will come with more seasons to follow .
This news was officially confirmed by ABC in an interview with TCA summer press visit. The new season is all set to air in the summer of 2020, hopefully in August. With the previous season being a grand success, it is being assumed that the new season will follow the same format with Chris Harrison as the presenter as always .
It’s said to be shot in Mexico with a tagline: Love, on the rocks. Some anticipated faces to be seen in the seventh season are Bibiana Julian, Demi Burnet, Blake Horstmann, Cam Ayala, Clay Harber and John Paul Jones. With the same concept, we can’t wait to see how the new season succeeds in making our summer even hotter with all of its glamour and elegance.
