Goosebumps set for Disney+
Disney Plus has ordered a new live – action series ‘Goosebumps’. The 10-episode series has returned back on television screen after the huge popularity of big-screen tales. In addition, the story walks on the plot of acclaimed writer R.L. Stine’s anthology book series.
Journey of thrilling entanglements
The plot of ‘Goosebumps’ reboot focuses on tangled horror tales with thriller genre through the lens of five high schoolers. Following, they unveil some supernatural powers in their city. The decision to work together in search of truth will land them in boundless labyrinths. Moreover, With the dilemma between truth and lie, many unrevealed secrets will breakthrough. Entanglements between friendship, past and rivalries will take audience to a new level. In addition to this, the unfold disguised pasts of their parents will not only chill down children’s backbone but also leave viewers in shock.
Disney Plus has been hinting about the reprise of ‘Goosebumps’ as TV series since April 2020. Finally, it gave green light to the production and ordered 10 parts of the upcoming live-action series. It seems that most probably the new series will hit quite similarity to the blockbuster movie of 2015.
Incredible Crew
Reboot of ‘Goosebumps’ will be created under Sony Pictures Television Studios. With cherry on the top, the 2015 Goosebumps movie credited director Rob Letterman will also be directing this time. He will also serve as the director of the first episode of the Disney+ series. Moreover, he will seat in the forefront of screen-writing and executive production board.
Apace with him, the producer of the previous two ‘Goosebumps’ movies – Neal H. Moritz will executive produce the remake. In addition to this, Nick Stoller and Rob Letterman will be writers and executive producers under Stoller Global Solutions banner. Besides them, Iole Lucchese and Caitlin Friedman of Scholastic Entertainment will serve as executive producers.
