Girl From Nowhere is a 2018 Thai language television anthology series produced by Sour Bangkok about a young woman who appears out of nowhere. Chicha Amatayakui, the series’ main character since the first season, presents the series to the viewers. Nanno, the persona in which she appears, is a fascinating woman who travels from school to school, learning about each student’s unique story of hypocrisy and lying.
The Story
Nano changes private schools for a variety of reasons, none of which are related to socialising or academic achievement. The girl notices how many scumbags there are among students and teachers who overindulge. They intimidate and stomp others, forcing them to have sex, accepting bribes, and much more. The girl’s unflappable appearance and ideas terrify everyone. She made it her mission to punish those who behave badly. They come to fear her as she answers with cruelty after cruelty. She switches schools in order to penalise as many students as possible.
But who is she to assume the role of judge, let alone god? She no longer has interests or ambitions; all she cares about is karma. Perhaps she acts this way because no one protected her when she was weak?
