The good news for Has Fallen franchise fans. The producers have announced the making of three more sequels and taking the movie on an international level.
After the success of Angel Has Fallen, the Has Fallen franchise expanding its reach to the global audience that will include three features film in addition to the previous one and TV spin-offs.
Producer Alan Siegal said that they are planning to loan out the film rights internationally that will result in spin-offs with local actors speaking in their local language creating and giving the new trilogy to the franchise. This will also improve the relationship between each other, and numerous global tv spin-offs can also be added to the main movie.
“If we do it in India, the star of that could come into…Has Fallen 4. It could be a symbiotic relationship”. Said Siegal.
The film production company, Millennium Media’s President Jeffery Greenstein said that the film is now becoming more character-driven after the entry of Angel Has Fallen.
However, there is no official production date yet confirmed but it seems that Gerard Butler will take his position of secret service agent Mike Banning in the upcoming films also.
After the success of Olympus Has Fallen (2013), London Has Fallen (2016), and moderate success of Angel Has Fallen (2019), producers, directors, actors, and fans are waiting for the fourth part. But the producers dropped the big bomb saying that now the franchise has three parts coming in a row.
The decision was quite apt as people are loving Mike Banning and his secret service implausible missions.
Along with Butler fans also hope to see Morgan Freeman once again in the action-packed thriller.
The last film to be released in the franchise was Angel Has Fallen, 2019, which grossed $133 million worldwide on a $40 million budget.
