Game of Thrones Co-creators aren’t interested to return with Spinoffs

The New Series Will Not Have David Benioff And D. B. Weiss

Game of Thrones has launched its various spinoffs including the upcoming prequel series, House of Dragon. This spinoff is going to launch later this year but there won’t be Co-creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.

The co-creator D. B. Weiss informed Entertainment Weekly that he and another co-creator David Benioff has no interest to involve themselves. They have no intentions to return to the franchise for the new series.

Further, he told that, they both were ready to move on to new projects. Even, they both did not see themselves as a part of this spinoff which they never saw coming.

Weiss told to Variety that they were the part of the series for last 11 years. They had gone all in, everyday for 11 years in the series. Further, he told that it was the best 11 years of their lives. After that, he says that even after 11 years it felt like a dream but at the end of the day they had to take a decision. They had reached a spot which feels like an end to what they had been a part of.

At last, he said that it fells like they have to move on and get ready and excited to produce something else. It also terrifies them when it comes to a point of building lots of something else. Further, they had never seen more shows in which they were involved.

The Co-creators New Project

David Benioff and Weiss and working on a new project which will be launched for Netflix. They are working on The Three Body Problem, it is an adaptation of the award winning Chinese book by Liu Cixin. Further, it includes many known faces like John Bradley, Benedict Wrong, Tsai Chin and few more.
