Comedian Horatio Sanz accused of sexual assault
Last year the news of an unidentified woman accusing Horatio Sanz of sexual assaulting her when she was a teenager came out. And now, we have more updates on the incident.
The woman claimed that apart from Sanz himself, the cast and crew of NBC, including Jimmy Fallon, were equally responsible for the abuse she faced at 17 at an afterparty and again later on.
She claimed that even Fallon was aware of the abuse, but did nothing to put an end to it.
“He abused me all over Saturday Night Live“, said the woman about Sanz
The woman known by the pseudonym ‘Jane Doe’ revealed that even though Horatio was the main character, he didn’t abuse her in an empty space. He apparently assaulted her all over the show.
In August 2021, the woman filed a lawsuit against the former SNL comedian. In the lawsuit, she claimed that Sanz groped her breasts and touched her genitals during an SNL afterparty held back in 2022. Apparently he did this in front of his colleagues when she was just 17 years old.
The alleged victim revealed that Fallon and Sanz reached out to her to appreciate her creating a SNL fan page. Later on she regularly attended the after-parties as Sanz’s guest, where she consumed alcohol and drugs.
The woman further added that after presenting himself as a mentor initially, Sanz started asking for her photographs and later on the requests started getting more and more graphic.
Horatio’s reaction to the lawsuit
At that time, the Boat Trip star’s attorney Andrew Brettler strongly denied all claims and called them downright ridiculous. He rather accused Jane Doe of trying to extract money from the comedian.
As of now, both NBC and Fallon’s attorneys are yet to comment on the active lawsuit.
