MONSTA X’s Kihyun is set to release 1st solo album

MONSTA X’s main vocalist Kihyun just dropped a major bomb on Twitter which is taking the entire Internet by storm. The official MONSTA X Twitter account announced the K-Pop singer’s upcoming solo album “Voyager”.

Kihyun’s first solo album, Voyager is all set to release on 15 March this year at 6pm KST.

Did Kihyun hint at his solo project earlier?

On February 19 midnight (KST), MONSTA X  revealed a new logo teaser for Kihyun. And many fans speculated that the singer might soon venture into a solo debut. But from the new album announcement, it seems the viewers were right.

The logo looks pretty sleek and sharp and is very much aesthetically similar to the previous logos the boy band shared till date. The logo depicts all the 6 letters in his name enclosed in a square. Needless to say, it looks quite sophisticated and earned appreciation from the fans.

Kihyun is the 3rd member of MONSTA X to go solo

The South Korean boy group released a mini album “No Limit” back in November 2021. Following that, they released their 2nd album in English language called “The Dreaming” in December 2021.

MONSTA X debuted almost 7 years ago and we gradually see the members starting out with their solo projects. While Shownu and Hyungwon stepped into the acting world, Minhyuk started working as a music show host and a radio DJ since 2020. We also saw I.M go solo in 2021 and Joohoney released his 4th mixtape.

There’s no denying the fact that Kihyun is one of the best singers in the K-Pop industry today. His incredible vocal range has been evident on several occasions including releasing solo OSTs for dramas such as ‘Suspicious Partner’, ‘She was Pretty’ and more.
