When the fans of K-Pop come to know that there is a band disbanding, they all become heartbroken. But now even sadder and heartbreaking news is here.
One of the former members of f(x), whose stage name is Sulli, has passed away. According to the reports, Sulli’s manager has found her dead in her home.
According to the reports from local police, Sulli’s manager has visited her because she was not answering her calls for a very long time. They have added that Sulli’s manager has visited her around 3:20 P.M. local time in her home located near Seoul in Seongnam.
The police are still investigating her death and according to reports from BBC, the police are considering the option she allegedly took her own life. The police said that Sulli lives alone and this situation might open a lot of possibilities apart from suicide.
Sulli whose real name was Choi Jin-Ri was born in Busan and was considered a star with her success in SM Entertainment’s girl band, f(x). She has sung many hit songs like Electric Shock, Danger, and Hot Summer. Choi Jin-RI’s hiatus was confirmed way back in 2014.
Sulli’s first solo album was released in June this year and was titled “Goblin”.
Unable to bear the online abuse, Sulli has discontinued her career as K-Pop Idol Singer in 2014 and was supposed to return to her girl band, f(x), a year later in 2015. But she allegedly left the group to pursue her career in the film industry. Sulli has appeared in film Real and Fashion King. Sulli has appeared on-screen in her first drama, Ballad of Seodong.
Though she left the music industry to build her acting career, she returned to the music industry after three years she has quit her group and was featured on the Dean’s single released in 2018 titled “Dayfly”.
