Florence Pugh is in a low-key relationship with screen star Zach Braff for about a year. But she was forced to hit back at trolls on Wednesday when she received a lot of criticism regarding their age, when she shared a tribute to mark the actor’s 45th birthday on Monday.
The Little Women star, 24,took to Instagram to share a video which said she did not need fans to tell her who, she should and should not love, because it is not their place to comment on her relationship.
In another lengthy statement, Florence continued to say that she hoped fans were ‘still well and healthy, and safe’.She also added that she was wrestling with the idea for the past few days about whether she should do this video.
Florence also said she wanted to do so for her ‘own peace of mind’ as she said: ‘On Monday ,she had posted a photo in honour of Zach’s birthday, and she wrote a birthday message for him.
She made it clear that she has only been on Instagram page to bring some light and to be positive, and to make people smile.’ But she continued to say that she will not allow any bad behaviour on her page. She was not about that. It makes her upset and sad that during this time when all really need to be together, and support one another, things are not happening like that.
This is a time when all of us need to love one another, the world is aching and the world is dying and a few of you have decided to bully for no reason, she added.
About their 20-year age difference, Florence added, that she was 24 years old, she had been working since she was 17-years-old, and she started paying taxes when she was 18-years-old. She again underlined the fact that she was 24-years-old and knew what to do.
