A French actress Valentine Monnier told Le Parisien about the alleged rape in an interview published this Friday.
Monnier talked about her rape to Le Parisien
She clearly stated, “I got raped by Roman Polanski in 1975 when I was in my teenage.” She continued that she had no connections with him, neither personal nor professional and hardly knew him. He took her at his chalet in Gstaad. He crossed all the limits of violence with her. He hit her and ripped her clothes until she surrendered.
He forced her to do all the unpleasant activities with him. “He hit me all the weakest points of my body. I just had turned 18 years old”, Monnier added.
She continued saying that, “However it’s been 45 years, this violence happened to me, but I thought of sharing my story to the public when I heard about his upcoming movie about an error of Justice.”
She continued saying, “rape is a time bomb, the memory does not fade.” It follows one like a ghost, makes you scared, alone, and weak. And she said that she knows it will not leave her until she dies.
Monnier added she is not the only one who was raped by Polanski. There are many other girls. He was accused of sexual harassment by a British Actor Charlotte Lewis in 2010, and she claimed that Polanski raped her when she was 16 years old 1983.
Another random woman known as Robin accused him of raping her in 2017. She claimed that she was raped by Polanski in 1983 when she was also 16 years old.
Polanski denied the allegation made on him for sexual harassment
But Roman Polanski has denied all the accusations made on him for sexual violence. His Lawyer Harve Temine stated that in his statement, “Roman Polanski strongly denied on all the allegations made on him.” Also, this alleged rape accusations alleged would have reported 40 years ago, and when exactly it has happened. The women’s never came throughout these long years. Why they all never contacted judiciary authorities for justice and accusation against Mr. Polanski.
Because of all these conditions, I request to allow the release on the eve of the film release.
