Dean Cain expresses his wish to get back in his Superman cape and tights once again, reviving the show Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. If you remember, Lois and Clark was a Superman-themed television show where Cain starred alongside Terry Hatcher.
Lois and Clark aired for four seasons till the year 1997 and was quite a hit. Now more than twenty years later, Dean Cain wishes to revive the show with his co-star Terry Hatcher.
In a statement to media, Cain said that he would love to see what happens next as according to him, the show ended on the weirdest note ever — and talking about that he would love to know what the characters of Lois and Clark are doing 25 years later. Back in 1997, the show had ended with Lois and Clark mysteriously being gifted with an unknown baby. “I’ve already started writing little bits and pieces down, so we’ll see if I can convince someone to make six, 10, 12 episodes,” Cane added.
Talking about Terry Hatcher’s take in the matter, Cane admitted that Hatcher agrees that the revival would be a great idea. Cane further added that he just doesn’t know whether they both would agree on what should happen next, but then that is perfect for Lois and Clark.
While with respect to an Arrowverse crossover, Dean Cain said he has not got any news about it. I am already on the show as Supergirl’s father, so hard to say how that would work out, but listen, I love being part of the genre and I embrace it and if something worked out that would be fine, you never know,” added Cain.
