Elvis Musical possibility as said by director Bas Luhrman
Director Bas Luhrmann gave a possible hint for the adaptation of an Elvis into a musical at a West End charity gala at Moulin Rouge The musical on Friday 30th. Director Luhrmann said to what’s on Stage that all his shows can become musically. Luhrmann was in a Teenage Cancer Trust gala hosted by Moulin Rouge the musical when asked about the possibility of the current release show into a musical.
About the Screenplay Elvis
Elvis was released in 2022 during the summer; it is a biographical music drama of the famous singer and actor. The movie is directed by Baz Luhrmann, and a screenplay written by Sam Bromell, Craig Pearce, and Jeremy Doner.
The movie is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie follows the ups and downs of the singer and actor Elvis Presley.
It starts with the actor Austin Butler as the lead character role of the actor and singer Elvis Presley and Tom Hanks as Parker.
The other Co-stars in the movie is include Olivia DeJonge, Richard Roxburgh, Helen Thomson, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Davin Wenham, and Kodi Smit-McPhee,
The film was a box office hit has grossed $285.9 million Worldwide with a budget of $85 million.
In the interview at the West end Charity gala, Baz Luhrmann said that it would be amazing to see Austin Butler doing a live musical, it would give the inner story of Elvis Presley’s life. He further said that Austin Butler did an amazing job in representing Elvis Presley.
Baz Luhrman’s remarks about his own shows
Baz Luhrman’s previous musical Moulin Rouge had been quite a great success. Moulin Rouge released in 2001 made a broadway hit in the 2018 musical. And as said by the director Baz Luhrmann himself that all his shows always have the natural tendency to be a musical, and Elvin Presley might have the same fate of entering into musical but when that will happen isn’t known.
