The Game Awards, the industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony, had been scheduled for 2022.It’s a thrilling night of triumph for gamers and programmers around the world, as games and the studios that created them are recognized for their exceptional quality and expertise.
The launch date for Final Fantasy 16, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, Hades 2, the upcoming title from BioShock creator Ken Levine, and many other announcements were all made throughout the event. The awards ceremony, which took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, was coordinated by Geoff Keighley.

Elden Ring is the winner of the “Game of the Year award“, which is given to the video game that effectively combines creativity and technological prowess. The title of “Best Action Game” is granted to a game in the action genre that focuses primarily on action. This year’s winner is Bayonetta 3.
In Bayonetta 3, an angel-hunting witch named Bayonetta battles Homunculi—man-made bioweapons—and the Singularity, an entity that poses a risk to the multiverse.
Moss: Book II is the “Best VR/AR game.” No matter the platform, the prize was given for the greatest virtual or augmented reality playing experience. The game involves solving puzzles.
God of War: Ragnarok was named the “Best action/adventure game” because it successfully combines fighting, adventure, and puzzle solving.
In the Norse mythology-inspired video game Deity of War: Ragnarok, Kratos and his son Atreus battle foes and prepare for Ragnarök, which was predicted to occur in the previous game after Kratos killed the Aesir god Baldur.
The Elden Ring won the “Finest RPG Prize,” which is given to the best role-playing game with extensive character advancement and customization options, including MMOs.
The fighting game that is largely focused on head-to-head battles is awarded the title of “Best Fighting Game” in the Multiverse. Players in Multiverse engage in combat on many stages while attempting to eliminate their foes.
The trophy for the “Best mobile game” ended up going to Marvel Snap. Apex Legends Mobile, which received positive reviews on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, was one of the rivals.
