Battle of the Chads incoming
Bethesda and id Software had promised over a week ago that they will be releasing a new trailer for DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2. The companies stuck to their promise and released the trailer. While the trailer was more of a teaser than a trailer, this won’t be the only clip for The Ancient Gods that we will be getting this week.
The clip
The video is just 24 seconds long, but it was big enough for gamers to look forward to an all-out war. There weren’t any gameplay in the video, but we got to see a brief look at Doom Slayer’s new weapon, which looks like a hammer. We also see his allies, which also included a mega-sized mech. The enemy will be the Dark Lord, the leader of Hell’s armies.
The full trailer, showing the fights between the leads, is going to drop on March 17th. With that, we are hoping to get the release date for the new DLC.
Other rumours
There are rumours swirling around the game, and if they turn out to be true, we might be playing this game by the end of this week. Over the last few days, a rumour came out that the DLC is releasing on Thursday, March 18. But it seems a bit hard to believe that the trailer is dropping just a day before the DLC comes. But then again, it might just happen.
But once the new trailer drops, we will be giving an update on whether we will get to see Doomguy ripping through the armies of hell.
