The collective mainly consists of New York-based rappers who carry the ASAP moniker, such as ASAP ROCKY, ASAP TWELVYY, ASAP NAST, ASAP ANT, etc. ASAP is stylized as A$AP.

Scott also worked as a personal manager for many artists. As the death of Scott was reported, many members of the music industry started paying their respect on social media.
