The director recently recalled the time when he used to work for the studio giant, Disney, and let’s just say it is not something that fans would have imagined to be. Burton describes the experience as torturous!

The Beetlejuice director further said that he felt like a zombie factory worker, thinking he was not allowed to express himself creatively. The popular director defined the whole experience as emotionally agitating in his book Burton on Burton.

The Director Said He And Disney Did Not Mix Well!

As shocking as this may sound, all those years, the director worked for the studio giant and was described as the most depressing years of his entire life. Burton also went on to confess that he felt tortured while working on The Fox and The Hound. As he described it in his biography,  he and Disney were a bad mix!

According to the director he was so depressed while working for Disney that he was unable to function well. It was not something that had a good effect on him. The director confessed that he went through a difficult time as an artist and it was as if he could not express himself fully as an artist and that led to the whole issue. Tim Burton opened up about several incidents from his early career and also his personal life as well in his biography.
