“Defending Jacob”, a novel written by William Landay is coming in a miniseries format. Apple TV+ is all set premiere the series on 24th April 2020. They also had given a series order for the same in September 2018. The show will be produced by Chris Evans, Morten Tyldum, Rosalie Swedlin, and Adam Shulman.
Who all are there in the lead Cast list?
The cast list has three lead casts including Chris Evans as Andy Barber, Michelle Dockery as Laurie Barber, and Jaeden Martell as Jacob Barber. Andy Baber will be seen playing the role of the prosecutor in the case of the death of a 14-year-old boy.
Laurie Barber is playing the role of Andy’s wife. Jacob Barber is playing the role of Andy’s and Laurie’s son who will be involved in the investigation and declared as a suspect.
Plot
The miniseries is based on the story of a 14-year-old boy’s death, Ben Rifkin, where Andy Barber, an assistant district attorney in Newton will be investigating the case. He and his wife, Laurie will find his son Jacob, a classmate of Ben.
Initially, Andy will suspect a pedophile, but later he will find a harsh relationship with his son, Jacob and the victim, Ben. And the how Andy and his Laurie will save his son Jacob, and reveal whether Jacob killed Ben or not.

The show will be first seen on Apple TV+ on 24th April 2020.
