Death Stranding: Hideo Kojima releases the Director’s Cut trailer for PS5

The game is all set to come to the PS5 on September 24

The final trailer for ace game maker Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding is out. The game is officially titled Death Stranding Director’s Cut. Fans, as well as newcomers will get a sample of what the new version will look like. Kojima, who directed the game, shared small clips from time to time and showed his subtle edits.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut offers many new features, such as brand new missions, Firing Range, and the Fragile Circuit racing mode. Content from Cyberpunk 2077 and Half-Life will also be present in the Director’s cut. The game gets to take full advantage of ghe DualSense in the PlayStation 5, and gets 3D audio, Widescreen Mode, and two HDR-backed picture modes. They will be called Performance and Fidelity. Performance is the superior mode, and gets 4K visuals and frame rates up to 60, while Fidelity has native 4K.

It first grabbed the attention of gamers during E3 2016. The game had Hollywood biggies such as Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelson as the protagonist and antagonist. It first released as a PS4 exclusive in 2019, and later arrived on PC thanks to publisher 505 Games. The PC version had other features like Photo Mode, Half Life crossover content, and wide-monitor mode. As of March 2021, the game sold five million units, according to Sony’s head of publishing Jay Boor.
