Benn Platt and Noah Galvin’s love story is certainly primed for the stage, with the couple confirming that they are officially in a relationship.
Noah Galvin, a pretty famous name in the Broadway, confirmed about their Monday’s episode of Little-Known Facts with Ilana Levine, a podcast.
“Ben and I are dating,” he said. “I asked him this morning, I was like, ‘Are we allowed to talk about this?’ And he’s like, ‘Don’t go into our nitty-gritty, but yeah, people can know.’ It’s still relatively new.”
The news about them dating sends all Broadway fans into a frenzy. Platt got his huge break in the hit musical ‘Dear Evan Hansen,’ a role that landed him a Tony Award, and when he left the production three years back, he was replaced by Noah Galvin.
Surprisingly, they aren’t the first couple to come from ‘Dear Evan Hansen,’ as former stars Ben Levis Ross and Taylor Trensch are also reportedly dating.
Galvin jokingly said that the show was incestuous, and their relationship was only natural. He added that they went through a war together and feel very connected right now.
He also said that his new partner, surprised him in a special on his birthday, on May 6. Benn put together a special video, which he compiled for Galvin for the past three months. The video had a compilation of all his favorite drag queens wishing him on his birthday!
Ben Platt released his new single, “So Will I,” in the first week of May. He also stars in “The Politician Season 2,” which is scheduled to air on Netflix in June.
Galvin is back in Broadway as he returned for the musical “Waitress” and also starred in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in February.
Their bond is certainly growing stronger by the day as both the stars are currently quarantined.
