The upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars is ready to welcome supermodel Christie Brinkley. As claimed by a Page Six source, ABC reality competition series Dancing With The Stars’ long desired wish of having Brinkley on the show will be fulfilled in its 28th season.
Fans cannot wait further to witness Brinkley’s charming moves on the show. The official cast of the season was announced today in the morning on Good Morning America. Some of the other renowned names that will be on the show are Pro Football Hall of Famer, Ray Lewis, and former NBA player, Lamar Odom.
The Page Six source had said, “They’ve (Dancing With the Star team) been asking her (Christie Brinkley) for a long time – about 15 years, and she finally agreed”.
Recently, Brinkley also returned to Broadway’s Chicago as Roxie Hart for the third time. From this, it can be conjectured that performing in front of a crowd will not be a very big deal for the 65-year-old star.
Upon asking Brinkley if her experience as Roxie would give her a leg up for the show, the model responded with complete modesty. Brinkley doesn’t quite reckon that her experience as Roxie will give her a leg up. She is definitely going to rock us all along and we just can’t wait to see her on the show.
The news of Brinkley’s joining comes along with the news of Hannah Brown’s casting. Hannah was the first official announcement to the show’s cast. Some days ago, Hannah Brown was in the news regarding her engagement with Jade Wyatt.
