During these quarantine days, normally everybody would flip to their favorite TV channel or hop online to join parties and be entertained by some of their favorite stars.
If you have a mood to dance, then switch on your TV screen. Club MTV, which is one of MTV’s oldest show is getting in on action, and special guests are in the lineup. MTV is bringing in a one-night only experience that will bring together Keke Palmer, DJ D-Nice, John Legend, Jeezy Jeannie Maii, Tiffany Haddish, and more.
MTV was a peak music television during the ‘80s and ‘90s. The network played videos for hours on end, and interviewed artists, had genre-specific series like Yo! MTV Raps. It also made household names out of MTV VJs, and gave the world, Club MTV.

The show, Club MTV was hosted by the famous Downtown Julie Brown. It was similar to shows like Soul Train or American Bandstand with a teen/young adult audience.
The show was filmed at New York nightclub The Palladium, the vibe was just that – nightclub. If you have ever tuned into Club MTV you might have seen acts such as The Cover Girls, Tone Loc, The Ramones, Salt-n-Pepa, or New Kids on the Block.
