Claire Danes to Join Jesse Eisenberg and Lizzy Caplan
The award winning actor Claire Danes will join Jesse Eisenberg and Lizzy Caplan for their limited series ‘Fleishman is in Trouble’. The show, based on a Taffy Brodesser-Akner’s novel of the same name and will stream on FX’s hub on Hulu. Brodesser-Akner’s wrote the series and and also executive produced it.
What will the Series Feature?
The show will encircle a recently divorced 40-something man Toby Fleishman, who discovers dating apps after his divorce. He also begins to explore his sexual freedom before he finds out that his ex-wife Rachel disappears. Fleishman will have to take care of the kids and also look for his ex-wife. He will also have to balance his promotion at the hospital and hookups. Later, he realizes that in order to find Rachel, he will have to figure out what happened with his marriage.

Claire Danes will pay Rachel Fleishman, a successful, ambitious talent agent, who is struggling with her new identity and past trauma. Brodesser-Akner will produce this series along with Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, Susannah Grant, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris. Dayton and Faris will also direct some parts of the series.
Jesse Eisenberg, best known for his role in “Now You See Me” as Daniel Atlas will play Toby Fleishman. Lizzy Caplan will play Libby, Toby’s longtime friend and also the narrator of the novel.
Claire Danes will be returning to TV with Apple TV+’s limited series “The Essex Serpent” after “Homeland” came to an end in early 2020. She has earned multiple awards including four Golden Globe Awards, three Emmy Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
In her Apple TV+’s, she will work alongside English actor Tom Hiddleston and French actress and model Clemence Poesy. She is represented by WME, Signpost Management and Ziffren Brittenham.
