Christmas is round the corner and Windsor Castle and St.George Chapel is fully decorated and covered with trees!

Staff decorates Windsor Castle’s Drawing Room and St George’s Chapel with 20ft Nordmann Fir trees. The Royal family is officially ready for the festival by putting up trees. The staff at the castle were all towards the preparation for Christmas. They brought trees and decorated it with red and gold baubles. Miniature crown and festive finery set with silver-gilt pieces from Grand Service were added to it.

The tree stands in the grand room of the palace, which is home to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The tree is so huge that the staff used ladders to climb to the top to complete the task. But the tree made it the center of attraction. It brought the festival feeling.

But before the tree came, yew was used in the castle. George IV’s mother, Queen Charlotte was the one who decorated her home with yews. This later became a tradition by Prince Albert in the 19th century. This tradition still goes on and these Christmas decorations have now become an annual attraction at the castle.

Then at night men wear a black ties instead and women instead of gorgeous gowns. This is the planned dressing for Christmas Eve. But this all can only be seen once in a time. During this time, the women wear all those expensive jewelry and tiaras as well, mostly all tiaras.
