CATS: Will Victoria be able to dance with beautiful ghosts? Taylor Swift’s recently shared Sneak Preview might answer the question?

“Cats” A beautiful spun piece of art is going to be premiered this December. The star cast has put a lot of effort into making this adaptive from the writer T. S. Elliot’s ‘Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats.’

The book is a collection of whimsy light poems revolving around feline psychology and sociology. It is the basis for the musical cats.

The star cast includes big names such as Taylor Swift (Bombalurina), Jennifer Hudson (Grizabella), Idris Elba (Macavity – yes that mysterious cat poem you read in school), Francesca Hayward (Victoria) and names like Rebel Wilson, Jason Derulo and many more.

Recently, Swift released a sneak preview of her upcoming song ‘Beautiful Ghosts’ collaborated with Lloyd Webber.

The song is centralized over Victoria (Francesca) who is a young and abandoned cat and wants to explore the life, on the other hand the song draws a parallel with the past of Grizabella who used to be beautiful and confident but lost her beauty with time and has only one thing left with her, ‘experience’.

There is a line in the sing, “I haven’t had a chance yet to dance with beautiful ghosts.” As Victoria goes through the song, she becomes (feels to be) empowered. And says, ” I will dance someday, maybe they will be beautiful ghosts to me too.”

Well, the fun part of the song is the song by TS isn’t featuring her. The song is sung in three parts by Victoria by halfway, then like a brief repetition by Judi Dench and at last by swift herself as end titles.

The song isn’t just an ordinary song, as per Taylor.

This is so because the melody Andrew played in piano wasn’t the one from the original Cats.

I’m like, “This is the one, and this is my moment.” There’s no top line. So, a top-line on a song is the words and the melody that somebody sings. ‘So if you have a song stuck in your head, chances are you’re singing the top line,’ Taylor added.
